At RFK Jr rally in Raleigh on Friday: “Bobby, 10,000 Palestinian children killed. You are silent. I worked for your uncle. You are no JFK” was my short ‘intervention’ during a lull in the applause.
GOOD NEWS: As I was led out, a large majority of the people I passed through – his supporters, mind you – thanked me warmly for saying what needed saying but what they were reluctant to say themselves.
And, this may be gilding the lily, but I experienced something positive as a result of Bobby’s having been denied Secret Service protection. Compared to what I have been accustomed to in Secret Service “removal” operations, Bobby’s protectors, though determined, were nonviolent in removing me from the scene of my crime of causing some ‘good trouble’ — skunk at the picnic again.
ATTENTION ATLANTA! Bobby has similar rally scheduled for TODAY, Sunday, in Atlanta. We need to keep asking him why his otherwise laudable concern for children does not include Palestinian children.
