Edward Snowden has been nominated by the students at Glasgow to be Rector of the university. (This is not the first time a winner of the Sam Adams Award for Integrity – Snowden in 2013 – has been so nominated by Scottish students. Former UK Ambassador Craig Murray, Sam Adams Award honoree in 2005, served as Rector of the University of Dundee from 2007 to 2010.)
The students in Glasgow are distributing 10,000 leaflets (link below) by Tuesday, and still more for the Friday event, in order to get the vote out for the election the following Monday & Tues. (Feb. 17 & 18).
