Ray on RT re Charlie Hebdo in Paris

On January 11 Ray was interviewed (5 min.) by RT regarding the intelligence failure accounting for the killings at Charlie Hebdo in Paris. As conspiracy theories multiply, he warns not to “misunderestimate” the fecklessness and naiveté of the clowns that have bubbled to the top of Western intelligence agencies since 9/11.

If the media do not explain the well established folly of adding still more spurious data to the haystack created by bulk electronic eavesdropping, the attention of detectives and intelligence analysts will continue to be diverted from tried and true investigative techniques. Thus, fewer needles will be uncovered under the towering haystack of “evidence;” there will be more attacks on soft targets like Charlie Hebdo; and even more money will be thrown at “collecting it all,” with still higher dividends for con-artist “intelligence” contractors already weighed down with bulging pockets.

For the interview, Ray temporarily left the Witness Against Torture activities on Jan. 11, marking the 13th anniversary of the arrival of the first prisoners at Guantanamo.

CIA Torture: Sky News TV (UK) interviewed Ray a few hours after the Senate Intelligence Committee released the summary report on CIA “enhanced interrogation techniques.”

On Sky News TV a few minutes later: Former CIA official Michael Scheuer takes strong issue with notion that torture was a disgrace and counterproductive; calls it “close to idiocy to argue something like that.”
