Inter alia, Clapper actally wrote in his memoir that, while he was head of imagery analysis before the attack on Iraq, “intelligence officers, including me, were so eager to help that we found what wasn’t really there [WMD].” Ray also observes that Clapper seems to be, so to speak, a summa cum laude graduate of the the “Curtis E.
