Obsequious semantics cannot appease Israelis. After several US vetoes of a ceasefire, and then a US try for a CONDITIONAL ceasefire is vetoed, US finds weaselly words it hopes might be OK with Israel & fails. This shortly before I talked w/NIMA for 10 min.
